About FinanceCalc
FinanceCalc is a free collection of financial calculators built to make common calculations quick, clear and transparent.
The website includes tools for loans, mortgages, interest, savings, investing, debt, retirement, real estate, tax and payroll, business, marketing, SaaS and other financial metrics. Each calculator uses the numbers you provide and presents the result together with information about the calculation methodology.
What you can do on FinanceCalc
- Calculate loan and mortgage payments, interest and costs.
- Estimate savings and investment growth.
- Compare financial scenarios using different inputs.
- Calculate business, marketing and SaaS metrics and ratios.
- Review formulas, methodology, examples and explanations related to each calculation.
- Use calculators in English and Spanish.
How the calculators work
FinanceCalc calculators process the values you enter in your browser using mathematical formulas. Calculator fields do not require a user account, and FinanceCalc does not deliberately need to store the values you enter in order to generate a result.
Results update from the inputs and parameters selected. Some tools use preset assumptions or parameters that can be changed where the calculator provides that option.
Transparent results
FinanceCalc aims to make it easier to understand where a result comes from. Where relevant, calculator pages include the formula or methodology, examples and additional explanations to provide context.
Financial information and accuracy
We aim to keep formulas and calculations accurate and consistent with the methodology described for each tool. However, banks, lenders, public authorities, platforms, companies and other providers may use different rules, rounding methods, fees, calendars, taxes or individual terms.
FinanceCalc results are informational estimates and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal or credit advice. Before making an important financial decision, verify the actual terms and rules that apply to your situation.
An evergreen calculator library
FinanceCalc is not a news website. Its goal is to provide a collection of financial tools that remain useful over time. Calculators may be updated when formulas, rules or functionality materially require it.
